为了推动中国政治社会学研究的发展，促进芝加哥大学与中国人民大学和其他中国学术机构之间，以及国内外学者之间的学术交流，由芝加哥大学北京中心与中国人民大学社会学系主办，中国人民大学社会转型与社会治理协同创新中心协办的“中国政治社会学讲习班”今年举行第四届，主题为“帝国：传统与变革”，届时将有15位国内外学者到讲习班做学术报告。讲习班面向全国招收学员，并提供奖学金。现将有关事项通知如下：
一、时间、地点
时间：2014年7月16~18日（星期三~五）。日程见附件一。
地点：芝加哥大学北京中心（北京中关村大街59号，中国人民大学文化大厦第20层）。
二、学员
（1）拟招收学员80人。
（2）招收对象为全国高校、社科院、政府政策研究部门和其他机构中有志于从事政治社会学研究的教师、研究人员和研究生。
（3）基于推动相关研究的需要，将主要根据研究基础和专业兴趣等条件对申请人进行遴选，但同时会考虑地区和机构分布等因素。
三、奖学金
（1）为部分学员提供奖学金。奖学金形式为免费提供7月15~18日共四天的住宿。
（2）奖学金名额最多为30人。有需要者应先提交申请，再由讲习班根据申请人的条件从中评出。奖学金评定优先考虑经济条件不足的年轻科研人员和在校研究生。
（3）奖学金名额不可转让。
四、讲习方式
（1）讲习班将采取学术报告与学员讨论相结合的方式进行。
（2）凡用英文讲习的环节，均提供英语同步传译。
（3）学员应参加所有讲习活动，不得无故缺席。
五、申请程序
（1）所有听课人员均须通过申请程序取得学员资格，有特殊情况者可申请旁听证。未取得学员或旁听资格者一律谢绝入内听课。
（2）申请自本启事发布之时开始，5月20日24时截止，以收到邮件的时间为准。遴选结果最迟于2014年6月5日24时前通知所有申请人。
（3）每位申请人需向讲习班提供以下两种材料：（A）报名表；（B）个人简历和研究计划。两种材料请分别用两个文件发送到讲习班电子邮箱smwkshop@gmail.com，并分别在邮件主题中注明“XXX报名”、“XXX简历和研究计划”，其中“XXX”为申请人姓名。
（4）需要奖学金的学员请填写“奖学金申请表”，一并发送到smwkshop@gmail.com，并在邮件主题中注明“XXX奖学金申请”。
（5）“报名表”和“奖学金申请表”请到“社会学视野”网（）下载。
（6）旁听证的申请从2014年6月6日24时开始，7月10日24时结束。有关通知届时发出。
